When we talk about wedding veil gathering, we are actually talking about double-tier veils. So, if you are interested in a single-tier veil, you don’t need to worry about a veil gathering style. Below are the three most common gathering options for a veil, each one creating a different look.
A centre gathered wedding veil is gathered in the centre with sections of tulle on either side of the comb. The fabric drapes around your arms and shoulders creating a flowing effect at the sides.
Being most versatile of all, (as you can bring the sides around the arms and shoulders or wear it behind) this gathering style is the most popular.
The drop veil has zero gathering at the comb. The tulle is sewn flat to the comb to avoid any volume and sits flat when draped over your head. It is the sheerest and most delicate wedding veil of them all. It is perfect for any bride who doesn't want a "poofy" veil.
There are different drop veil options, but a plain drop veil is lightweight and puts less pressure at the comb area.
